I study the history of the Muslim societies by mainly using Arabic historical sources. My focuses are the West Mediterranean regions, including North Africa (al-Maghrib) and Iberian Peninsula (al-Andalus), and I am also interested in their relations with the Christian world of Europe on the Mediterranean north coasts.
